There are two ways that you can explode sales from your eBay listings or eBay store. Firstly, you could increase conversions and encourage more people to bid on your items from the same amount of traffic. Secondly, you can increase your auction views which will ultimately lead to more bids and more sales. This article series will focus on increasing traffic to your eBay items.
This article will discuss how video will boost both conversions of traffic to buyers and also how it can lead to a traffic explosion (and therefore sale explosion) to your eBay store.
Video has been the revolution of the last few years online. Here’s how you can use it for your eBay marketing adventures.
1) Add a video to your eBay auction which demonstrates or presents the product you are selling
If you sell fitness equipment, then take a video of yourself on the treadmill, exercise bike or whatever it is. Show that it works and how it works. Your prospects will see you’ve gone that extra mile to show them the product and would be more inclined to buy from you than any of your competitors.
2) Submit a video of you using or presenting your product and submit it to online video sites
Again, using the same example as above. If you sell fitness equipment then take a video of you demonstrating or presenting the product.
Submit that video to video sites such as YouTube.com and at the end of the video, include a link back to your eBay store. You’ll notice an increase in both traffic and sales. Go and try it!
